: Abstract
With the rapid advancement of technology, autonomous vehicles have become a tangible reality, raising legal questions regarding civil liability fordamages they may cause. This research aims toexamine the legal frameworks governing suchliability, comparing the civil laws of Iraq, Egypt, andFrance. The study focuses on identifying the partyresponsible for compensation, whether it is thevehicle owner, the manufacturer, or the softwaredeveloper, while analyzing the adequacy .of existinglegal rules to address these developments.
