Abstract

When Palestine fell into the hands of the Israeli occupation, the occupier intended to subordinate the Palestinian economy to the Israeli economy, so that the Palestinians would remain subject to the occupier. Palestinian workers were assigned to work in Israel within special policies to ensure that the Palestinian’s livelihood would also be subject to Israel, and Palestinian workers flocked to Israel under the need of poverty and lack of opportunities, the occupier used the workers’ card as a pressure card, so they applied pressure according to what Israel's interest and political and economic circumstances dictated, which led to the occupier’s violation of many international conventions, international humanitarian law, and various international agreements that guarantee the freedom, safety, and right to work of the worker, especially the Fourth Geneva Convention, which It defines the duties of the occupying state towards the Palestinian people.
