It has spread in the recent period in Kuwait and the Sultanate of Oman, and the widespread use of artificial intelligence in electronic stores by linking electronic stores to the artificial intelligence platform, ChatGPT, and this linking process takes place through API technology, to pass data back and forth between software applications in an official way Where artificial intelligence responds to customers, answers inquiries, and gives information. Indeed, most stores now use artificial intelligence techniques in writing descriptions and characteristics of products on the online store, and in the very near future, and within a few years, artificial intelligence technology will spread in Kuwait and the Sultanate Oman in the sectors of transportation, delivery, education, health, entertainment and all sectors
Of course, the legal effects resulting from the use of artificial intelligence services in providing a service or product to the public are very large and very complex, as they cause a radical change in defining the scope of responsibility. Where the big question is who is responsible for the actions and decisions of the equipment and additions that operate with artificial intelligence, and what is the exact legal description of the personality of the robot or the addition that depends on artificial intelligence in issuing and implementing decisions? Is it a natural legal personality or a legal personality
The general rules stipulated in the scope of civil liability may achieve adjudication in cases related to artificial intelligence, but it will require a great and double effort to achieve the process of investigation, verification and adaptation of the legal situation
Kuwait and the Sultanate of Oman, like most countries in the world, are in dire need to issue a package of specialized legislation concerned with artificial intelligence, in order to increase the accuracy and speed of adjudication of issues that will be found in the world of artificial intelligence services and products, which have begun to enter the markets of the two countries and forcefully. Moreover, the need to integrate artificial intelligence in the fields of business and dispute resolution is increasingly recognized, due to its ability to provide accuracy and speed in data analysis and decision-making.
