Correction, Retraction and Withdrawal Policies
A- Corrections
- Change of Authorship
After the manuscript is submitted, the corresponding author is required to send a request through the signed Change of Authorship Form to add or remove an author or to rearrange the author names of the submitted manuscript.
- Before publications
Proofs of the article will be sent to the corresponding author by e-mail. Proofreading is solely the responsibility of the corresponding author. All corrections are sent back to us within 48 hours in one communication.
- Post Publishing
Corrections are published if the publication record is severely affected by the accuracy of the published information. Corrections are published in the subsequent issue under Corrections and addendum.
B- Retractions
Modern Journal of Health and Applied Sciences’s Retraction policy is based, in large part, on the guidelines and standards developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

C- Withdrawal
Articles can be withdrawn by the authors only for the most compelling and unavoidable reasons, after submitting a letter signed by all the authors of the article to the editorial office stating the reason for article withdrawal. Authors must not assume that their article has been withdrawn until they have received appropriate notification to this effect from the editorial office.
Manuscripts may be withdrawn by submitting a letter to the editorial office stating the reasons for manuscript withdrawal.
If an author requests a withdrawal within 10 days of submission, the author is allowed to withdraw the manuscript without paying any withdrawal fee; however, if authors withdraw manuscripts at any time after review and acceptance, a withdrawal fee will have to be paid 200 USD.
